The guy who runs the Buckley Wildlife Sanctuary over in Frankfort tells me that we should keep our hummingbird feeders out from March through November because the hummers are in our area then. I never see one before Memorial Day and believe me I watch! Our yard was swarming with hummers last year and we had a blast watching the squirmishes (they are very territorial). I'm hoping they remember us and come back again this year. I usually see the first one ON Memorial Day so I'll keep everyone posted!
