Hypno Cat

This is Hypno Cat, which is a print from PurrPrints. She is also on Bluegrass Etsy Street Team and we had a meet and swap in Louisville this past Saturday. Yes, I FINALLY got off of work to attend one! It was certainly worth the trip. We all had lunch together and talked before we made our way over to the other side of the restaurant to set up our stuff and "shop". Except for Libby (Maylees Garden). She didn't have a chance to pull out any soap, we pounced on top of her! We've all bought soap from her so we were all over her like white on Rice!
I got this beautiful print from Purrprints and framed it today as a Christmas gift for my brother. I spent less than $20 on this and I'm really proud of how beautiful it came. The frame was 50% off at Hobby Lobby. I also got a beautiful necklace for my Mom (which I wrapped already) from Whimsybeading. I also got a card and handmade star (which is on my tree) from Smackinart. And I got a beautiful eyeglass case with roses painted on it from MissDaisyW (I LOVE her shop). I also got an ankle bracelet for my daughter's birthday from WhimsyBeading.
The trading was fun but still not as exciting as getting to meet more of my team members face to face. This has really helped cement some decisions in my professional life too because I definitely want to have the opportunity to this again.
I hope everyone is having a glorious Holiday and isn't stressing out over shopping. I had gotten to the point in the last few years that I couldn't enjoy Christmas anymore. I hate to go to the Mall this time of year. But I think everyone is scaling back more this year and we have streamlined our gift giving. I think this will be the best Christmas my family has had in a long time!
