Important Announcements

I am starting my "Black Friday" specials this weekend and running them until Christams Eve.  I will be offering free shipping on all orders over $20 and all orders over $50 will also receive a 10% discount.

In January I will be closing down my Hyena Cart store-maybe even in December.  It just hasn't been a good fit for me there and with all my other sales slowing I can't justify keeping it.

For those of you in the Central Kentucky are, my products are on consignment in Lexington, Midway, and Versailles.

In Lexington I have items at the First Touch Therapeutic Massage center located at 2028 Regency Rd Suite 100.  So if you need a massage that's the place to go and you can check out my oils, soaps, etc. while you're there.

In Versailles I have items at Truly Bluegrass located at 173 North Main St.  As the name implies, only Kentucky artisans are featured and it's like Heaven when you walk in the door.  My friends and fellow teambluegrass members, Joey and Kelly Graves of WhimsyBeading are also consigned there.

In Midway I have my products in DamselFly Studios located at 126 East Main St.  So if you're near one of these locations stop in and check out all the items they have made by local artists.

October Giveaway

For October I will be giving away TWO one ounce tins of sage ointment.  This isn't regular garden sage but Ceremonial White Sage.  The smell is absolutely heavenly, and this herb has a long use as a natural incense for ritual, meditation and purificatrion cermonies.

Sages are cooling, deodorant, anti-inflammatory, purifying and anti-infectious.  Try this on wounds, on sweaty feet to reduce perspiration, rub a little on your chest to break up congestion or even to alleviate hot flashes.  One customer who bought this oil from me described it as a garden in a bottle.  I LOVE it!

New Oils

I have been sick all weekend and still feel a little yucky. I have managed to get a couple oils infusing today since I 'm starting to feel better. First, I am infusing a full quart jar of chamomile oil. I have been selling some cold cream like crazy this week so I have run out of oil. I also harvested some fresh peppermint, rosemary, marjarom and arnica to infuse in olive/sunflower oil to make a nice sportsy massage oil. It should be ready in a couple weeks unless I decide to double infuse it.

Medicated Oil

I have a small amount of medicated oil back in stock. It is slightly different than the original batch since I was working with all dried herbs. There is no all-heal in it and I added some wood betony. It smells very close to the original and the addition of the wood betony will make it more relaxing.

I will be able to make more very soon as many of my plants are starting to peak above the soil. We are forecast to have warmer temps for the next week-let's hope it stays that way and Spring is finally here! We have been warming up a little but we have had so much snow this year that some of it still hasn't melted! So every now and then you see a batch of snow on the ground while you're driving around.

Man am I ready for Spring!!!!!!!!
