Have you tried publicizing your giveaways? At a bare minimum, I would leave a post in the etsy forums. If you word your post like it's not a "promotion", it can go in "business topics", where more people will see it.I would do something like:"Do blog giveaways work for you?" for the titleThen tell about your frustration with your giveaways, ask others for their experience/suggestions, and finally include a link to the giveaway on your blog so that if people have "feedback" for you, they can read your giveaway. I think you will get some good feedback, as well as a few entrants.Oh yeah, and then I would contact Kathleen at www.katydidandkid.blogspot.com and see if she can let her readers know about your giveaway. She has a weekend giveaway post, where her readers can add their link to her list of current giveaways. She's got lots of followers, so it should bring you some traffic.Hope that helps!
Hi Jackie, I would keep them coming. There is an etsygiveaways blog that Purrprints of our team puts together. You could get lots of publicity from that as well.
I think you should continue. It seems to be a great way to introduce people to something they may not have tried yet. I found your blog from another Etsian-picnic basket crafts- on her blog. So, maybe the other ladies are right and you need more exposure. I do check your blog a couple of times a week to see if you've posted anything. I've really liked the herb info. I just don't comment very often. I guess I feel a little strange about posting simply for the chance to get something for free. BTW, the products I've gotten from you are fabulous!
